It was very good. The food was like I was in Japan and the service was on par. The ambiance was extremely jazzy. Honestly, a great meal.

I had a high expectation since we waited a long time for the seat and the ratings on Google map are high. Nothing excites me: normal Japanese udon, rice, curry. Not too bad, while doesn't worth the wait for me. Maybe because it's not too expensive, so many people are waiting?

Very good food. I had the Namban chicken and it was very good. Good service as well. 5 star

My friend and I visited this restaurant during lunch on Monday and it's a nice quiet restaurant. The servers are very nice and accommodating. My friend and I both go the Tonkotsu Ramen And Mini Don and it's a lot of food! This is definitely not the place if you want super authentic Japanese food but I think the price and portions are worth the visit. I did find soup for the ramen a bit heavy after a few bites and the salmon on the salmon don is almost completely cooked through.

Pork katsu curry here is fire! I have eaten katsu curry at many restaurants in the Bay Area, and this is one of the best! The pork is juicy and crispy. The curry is flavorful. I've been back here a couple times specifically for the katsu curry. I like that this restaurant does their best to honor authentic Japanese cuisine. They serve the meals on trays, and offer many side dishes as they do in Japan.

Came here cuz my friend works here. Honestly I was pleasantly surprised there was a 定食 Teishoku restaurant in the US as most of the Japanese restaurants all have similar dishes. The food was satisfying tho, I love the rice, it was sticky just as I loved. I got the mixed toji and it was a comfort meal. Came with miso soup, seaweed salad and a bowl of rice. Will come back again to try other dishes! If you check in on yelp you get free salmon carpaccio!

I stumbled upon this Japanese culinary haven in the Bay Area, and it's safe to say that it has become my go-to spot for the best comfort food fix. From the moment you step inside, the authentic ambiance sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The udon noodles - cooked to perfection, achieving that delicate balance between chewiness and tenderness. The broth, rich in flavor, served as the soul-warming base for this bowl of heaven. It's the kind of udon that makes you close your eyes with each slurp, savoring the comforting symphony of flavors. The eel over rice - a dish that left me in awe. The eel was impeccably grilled, boasting a delightful smokiness that paired perfectly with the seasoned rice. Each bite was a journey through layers of savory bliss, making this dish an absolute must-try. The steaming egg - Delicately cooked, the egg was a silky masterpiece that elevated the entire dining experience. It added a creamy, velvety texture that complemented the other dishes flawlessly. Takoyaki - golden, crispy on the outside, and bursting with savory goodness on the inside. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors, showcasing the chef's skill in crafting this popular Japanese street food. What truly sets this place apart is its claim to being the best comfort food spot in the Bay Area, and let me tell you, they live up to it. The menu is a treasure trove of soul-soothing dishes, each crafted with care and authenticity. Whether you're seeking solace on a rainy day or just craving a taste of Japan's culinary delights, this restaurant is your haven. The staff is warm, welcoming, and passionate about ensuring your dining experience is nothing short of extraordinary.
